The Oregon Motor Vehicle Department can provide additional information about transferring title and releasing liability when donating a car in Oregon.

Donate a Car for Charity provides vehicle pick-ups throughout the state of Oregon, including Portland, Salem, Eugene, Baker City, Albany, Ashland, Pendleton, Springfield, La Grande, Corvalis, and Medford. In most cases, you must provide a clear title when you donate a vehicle in Oregon. Please consult the Oregon Motor Vehicle Department to determine procedures if you do not have a title. The Oregon Motor Vehicle Department will also be able to provide you with more information on how and when to release the liability of your donated vehicle.

The Wyoming Department of Transportation can provide additional information about transferring title and releasing liability.

How to Replace Lost Minnesota Car Title

To make a Minnesota car donation you first will need the title of your car, which will be transferred over to the charity.
