Step 4: Acquire the title, preparer the vehicle and arrange for pick up.Once the charity has reviewed your information, they will arrange to pick up your donated vehicle. Make sure you have the title in hand, or they cannot accept the donation. Before they arrive, remove all personal possessions from the vehicle. Since most pick-ups are done through a local towing company, make sure that you pass any special instructions on to the charity ahead of time.
